Appearance

A fiery, white tipped mane drapes over her boyish features. The woman's slitted green eyes bore a striking light akin to the dancing glow of a candle. Her complexion was lightly freckled and sun kissed, with little in the ways of wrinkles to mar her youthful visage.Ro's frame was lithe, leaning towards modest in her curvature. Notably, she seemed to tower over her fellow seekers, perhaps owing to some mixed lineage? Her clothes concealed light toning which spoke of regular training. It would be rare to see her adorn herself with makeup, and her dress could often be considered functional and masculine.

Boyish, bright and somewhat rude, Ro does not hesitate to speak with casual honesty although not often with harshness. Ro is keen to seeing the good in others. her outspoken nature often belies a challenge for others to grow as people.Ro is a natural idealist, believing in the innate power of every person. She wishes to become an adventurer who fights for a better world - a world without sacrifice. to this end, the young woman is eager to leave her mark on the world, even if this means to be marked in kind.Despite or perhaps because of her inexperience, Ro is ever stalwart in her ideals and almost never acts contrary to what she believes is right. Time will tell whether her ideals will withstand it's test, or become embittered by a world that demands much of the idealist.

History

by your will, arise towards the dawn

Ro's is a tale in the making. A woman coming into her own with dreams of becoming a hero who can inspire hope in others. It is her belief that the Warrior of Light lives as a challenge to which anyone could arise.Ro serves as the founder of The Dawn - a group dedicated to ideals and making positive change in the world. As its members hail from diverse backgrounds, The Dawn is a home for those who might otherwise lack one.

Her Story

Ro was born to a Raen Swordsman and a Dalmascan Seeker who was made a refugee by the occupation of her homeland. Ro was born shortly before the Garlean invasion of Doma. Many of the circumstances surrounding her birth are yet unknown to her.Certain events in the following years led the young child to be taken into the care of her grandfather. Under the veteran war-doctor's care, Ro has known few places to be home for long. She has taken up his training both in the manipulation of Aether as healing arts, and in swordplay. Despite having since grown into an impetuous young woman, Ro still knows little of her past.Though many questions remain unanswered to her, Ro is determined that she will one day know the truth. Now that she is a woman grown, the course of her life is hers to decide. The world begins and ends with her, and she is determined to see her dreams realized.

The Wayward Heir

A clan caught between tradition and change. A clan who's unwanted heir remains missing. Those who know of the Doma's once-warring states may know of the Honno-Ji; once seen as powerful, left stagnant since the time of the Empire's occupation.In recent days, the Honno-Ji may be regarded in one of two ways. For many, a clan that is a shade of its past. For ta select few, a clan involved in dark superstitions that pines for the day that their wayward heir returns to fulfil their wishes of renewed glory... by force, if necessary.

Preferences?

I generally really enjoy stories about redemption, self-actualization and internal character struggles. I tend to enjoy writing heroic characters who's primary struggle is within themselves.

Dark Themes?

I am not shy about dark themes, although I generally like it best when the darker story beats serve a positive point in the end. I am not as big a fan of grimdark for the sake of grimdark.
